Heno, Heno (Tonight)

This is a simple lullaby which a mother will sing to her baby. It contains a few simple first Welsh words for the young learner:

heno (hair-nor, tonight), hen blant bach (hane blant barch, dear little chlidren)
gwely (gwe-lee,bed), dime (dim-eh, halfpenny) fory (vore-ee, tomorrow).
It's just a few words without much meaning to lull the little one to sleep.

Heno, heno hen blant bach
Gwely, gwely hen blant bach
Dime, dime, dime hen blant bach
Dime, dime, dime hen blant bach

The second verse - same as the first - just substitutes fory for heno.

There are no repeat instructions for this tune. Just start at the beginning and continue through to the end.

Sing the words to help you with the tune.
